You see, I imagine you may not be fully familiar with our history. There is, of course, a brute force way you could aid familiarity, but I thought I might take this opportunity of a break in the action to provide… a crash course.

So consider this my gift to you, either the you that did not experience the original story, or the you that did, but needs a refresher.

Once upon a time, an eager second generation hero known as Karn and his much less eager, more sarcastic mage friend Ardam went on a quest.

What ho, my friend! Do you want to go on a quest of “Adventurous” proportions?

I’m pretty sure this isn’t how we started our adventure but whatever.

But what is a quest without a villain? Theirs was a vastly powerful dark wizard known as Khrima.

Bwahahaha, me and my magic and my army of robots and my lasers, are going to destroy and or take over the world, or perhaps destroy it and then take it over?

.. now that I think about this, you really should have focused on like, one of those things.
